Default How many of you live in North Carolina?

Just wondering how many posters live in North Carolina? I live in the greensboro, winston salem, high point area. I would love to find some more singles players to hit with and play in this area. Tell your rating as well. I am 4.5/5.0

USTARules. I can connect you with several 4.5 players around. We can always use another 4.5 USTA player. We finished 2nd in the 4.5 devision. Strong 8.5 combo around as well. Also, several that play in the NTRP tournaments here once per month.

Asheville here....3.0 pushing 3.5. Started playing in May of this year and I've been loving it. Played my first tourney a couple weeks ago, and just joined a 3.0 singles team and won my first league match last night. Looking forward to the upcoming 6.5 combo league as well.

I live in Cary. Played high school, recreationally in college, and a couple times a year since then (31 yo now). I've just started hitting more often recently and the tennis bug has bitten me again. I'm hoping I'm a 4.0 now, but that might be optimistic.

I hope to move (retire) to Western North Carolina next year. We're going next week to look at the areas of Blowing Rock/Boone, Lake Lure/Black Mountain, and Brevard. I told my wife that I don't care AT ALL where we live, as long as there's good tennis within a half-hour drive. Obviously, we're checking out tennis facilities in each town we go to.

Brevard Racquet Club has impressive facilities. I played there not long ago and they had just done a multi-million dollar renovation, overhauling most everything. I played at a club in Blowing Rock/Boone called Yonhalossee, the courts were really nice. They had an indoor pool and indoor courts too, but I didn't get to see either
