That looks pretty nice. I plan to move to the Boone/Blowing Rock area in the next 6-9 months.
Hope there's something that good there.

I am part of the league machine now. Wasn't quite yet when I posted earlier. Was still hunting a place to play.

(Or were you referring to rating? That's not what the computer says....)

Oh, and if I have anything to say about it, I'll be a fixture in the league machine in Snow Hill until I die on court.

I played high school tennis in the same conference as Greene Central H.S. in Snow Hill. Is Donald Clark still coaching there?

When I graduated and moved away they were just starting work on a tennis center near the high school. I'm sure they've finished that by now.

I'm a 3.0 in Greensboro, NC. And if you are looking for players then we have almost 70 NC players wanting to play signed up and looking for tennis partners at www.TennisPulse.org. Most around Greensboro and High Point, but there are others some in Asheville, RDU, and Wilmington.

Looks like there a quite a few from NC on these forums. Thats great.

I loved Donald Clark! My high school team would always play in his pre-season tournament that he set up for the schools. I also always played in his junior tournaments.

I'm interested to know if he's still coaching there also. I played a tournament 2 summers ago in Snow Hill and he was still running things.

Yes. He coaches the Girl's team, who recently won the 2A state championship.
