Is it bad to do this? Say I like my racket strung at its max tension (60#) but I'm losing 7-10 pounds due to my klippermate clamps; is it bad for the frame to string it at 67#, knowing that the clamp slippage/twisting will eventually lower the tension?
I don't want to hurt my frame...pls help. |

If you are sure it is losing that much tension, it shouldn't hurt it to over tension by that much just while stringing. You are in effect just prestretching the string by over tensioning it by about 10%.
