Default Outrageous. Nike id has no tennis...

Those idiots at Nike have no Tennis Performance shoes availiable to ID. anyone else finds this an insult, having in mind the fact that tennis is a major income source for nike?

I think nothing could be further from the truth. I think tennis is small potatoes for Nike.

I agree with you on this... its definitly nike's loss by not taking advantage of their tennis following. I know when the Breathe Free II's first came out they had it listed as an iD option but shortly took them off of the list of available shoes.

Man; small potatoes are a major delicious recepie in my country, along with codfish....

Now seriously. Breakpoint... follow me here. if tennis is a small potatoe to nike why the heck would they invest in the sponsoring of the biggest two players of the last 2 decades. Rog & Rafa, Pete & Andre...!!!
i really do think so, but if you have numbers, i would like to take a look at them.

Nike would probably lose money if they did that. Youre acting like tennis is basketball or soccer or something. If nike would make money off it, they would do it.

No, considering the Nike id concept was created for and marketed toward runners.

I remember when I was back in college (2003-2004) there was ID for the Air Vapors at the time.

yeah, gorecki, i feel your pain. i guess the moral of the story is if you want to get custom nike tennis shoes, you need to win four wimbledons in a row!

I just have this feeling that they could at least let us have a Kswiss type of personalization. how much of a choice do we have now? Adidas for example has the MI ADIDAS in like 30 diferent collors for the Barricades...
why would nike loose money on that?

It's especially ironic given that Maria Sharapova was on during the Open with a segment on how she designed her Nike ID casual shoes, yet Nike sees fit to not have tennis shoes on there. Go figure.

I see the problem and i wish i could have customised nike id shoes. Then everyone wouldnt be wearing the same type of shoe at the grand slams like with the cages at the US open.
And if adidas has created custom shoes i dont see why nike hasnt as they're missing out big time
