You're right about the color. She is an aborigine AND her skin is white.

The greatest male black player of all time is Arthur Ashe. He was the best ameteur in the world towards the end of the open-era. He won 3 of the 4 grand slams, all in the open-era. He was the first ever black winner of Wimbledon in 1975 when he upset Connors in the final. He is the only African American to ever win either a Wimbledon title or a Australian Open title or a US Open title and he won all 3.

Probabely more important than this he was civil rights activist who helped during South Africa's move towards racial equality and away from apartheid. He also set up a charity for AIDS victems after he himself tragically contracted AIDS (Incidentally he later died from AIDS).

This man was a truely great man and tennis player.

That photo is overexposed - even her hair almost looks white. Shes obviously mixed like Blake, but you must be blind if you can't see shes also black.

I admit, I've read nothing of this thread, but ... is the title of this thread A JOKE?! Look, I can tell you're a teenager, and trying to feel things out, but people don't keep lists of the best black tennis players here. And they keep lists of a lot of other things, like players going bald. Really, kid, move on.

Wow, I can't believe people are participating in this thread. Any thoughts on the best Korean players?

I consider Serena Williams to be the Best Female Black Tennis player and for the best side i say James Blake or Gael Monfils. They both have a blasting foreahand but it seems blake has been more consistent. However, Monfils has the fastest hardest forehand in the world. Your thoughts? (NOT BEING RACIST HERE JUST WONDERING. Are you kidding? I must be blind? There is obviously nothing black about her. I have white friends with darker skin. Her hair, and I've seen many pics of her, does not denote "blackness". Maybe you should take a hike with this crap, ******.

Uh... is black a color? Certainly black isn't ethnicity if we're calling both aboriginees and Africans "black". Perhaps you should explain to me, smart guy, what black means. Last time I checked, it referred to dark skin or someone from African descent. I find that Evonne Goolagong is neither.

Well Arthur Ashe and Yannick Noah pop to my mind before any others.

Somebody said Tsonga, well he has a big game, but the matter is, if he can put that big game toghether and go on and have a good run in a slam. I'll give him a few years.

Just because she is from Aboriginal descent doesn't mean she is, I mean, look at her, she is not black.

I thought we were discussing players who are dark skinned, also known as "black", yeah?

i guess that was my whole point. to say that someone is "black" is completely idiotic. not to mention it's inaccurate, though it is in common usage everywhere. it says very little about where someone is from, or what their lineage is.

Yeah, I mean only an idiot wouldn't instantly recognize the woman in this picture as "black":

Funny how so many others here seem to be blind to this as well.

Look, if blacks don't want to be called blacks then they should stop using the term themselves. What the hell do you expect someone to call your group if your group is using the term?

It's the same with the N word. I hear blacks throw out this word 30 times a minute. Then blacks will complain that the term is archaic and has no place in society. Blacks are keeping this word alive more than any other group.

It's time for all people to start taking responsibility for themselves and stop pointing the finger at others.
