Default what is pete sampras using right now?

from the match from kuala lumpur, i definately could tell that he's not using his old 85sqinced prostaff. it was a bit odd, coz there was a babolat logo, stenciled on his strings. at first i thought the racquet was babolat as well but as i take a deeper look, it seemed to be a wilson. and i'm pretty sure of it. the butcap was "W", the trademark on the side of the head wasn't babolat, and there was a wilson thing printed inside the throat. the racquet seemed to be an ncode and it looks like a light one. the painjob was somewhat orange. the headsize i think is at around 95sqi. so i'm guessing, an ntour perhaps?

Hes using the same racket as Fed....just with the old ncode paintjob...you can tell from the string spacing and shorter pallet. Its not orange its red...nsix-one tour 90 paintjob. He has the babolat logo because he is still using VS Gut (in a hybrid with BB ALU Power).

how sure are you about that? well, i don't think it's the n90 as the edges were very roundy and not sharp as the n90.

100%....you can see its the same racket fed uses....I didnt say he is using the n90 as thats not what fed uses/used. Sampras's racket is much heavier...you can see all the lead @ 3 and 9. Wilson prob gave Pete some of Rogers sticks.

You can see from this pic the box beam etc:

http://estaticos01.cache.el-mundo.ne...79941243_0.jpg

Sampras has even said him self that he is using "the same racket as roger"

Pete has stated (I have seen it in a few interviews and in print) that he is using Roger Federer's racquet. He said its a little bit bigger than his old racquet and he marveled about the strings. This has been noted and there is a link somewhere to the video.

This is a quaote from Pete:

Tennis fans will notice one big difference: Sampras has ditched the Wilson Pro Staff mid racket he used his entire career.

"I'm actually trying a bigger racket. I used a small racket my whole time on tour. But now I'm an old guy, I need some extra power. I'm using the racket that (current No. 1 player) Roger Federer uses. I don't even know the name of it — I know it's red, that's all."

Federer's (and now Sampras') racket is the Wilson nCode nSix-One Tour 90.

No way is that a 90.

Looking at the pics it looks alot like an extended length 95.

Agreed. I also use the nCode 90 and that's exactly what it looks like.

Don't forget that Sampras has a small head so the racquet head next to his head may seem larger than when next to the average sized head.

jeez, if you can see it's a 90 in your drug induced haze it should be clear to everyone.

btw, tell him to stop playing with a racquet that is not 100 si and not suited to the modern game

Yep it looks like a 90 to me too. Besides, the 95 plays totally different than the 90 and Sampras used to play with the 85 which plays similar to the 90. It would be illogical for him to switch a frame that plays totally different than to use a frame that plays similar the one he had been using over the years.

Sampras is using the SAME exact racquet as Federer, just with a different paintjob on it. So if you believe that Federer is using a K90 then Sampras is also using a K90 (under the nCode paintjob).
