Hey ok....But I was responding to the poster who said that federer is down to earth.

He is anything but "down to earth"....he is a pretty boy with $800 dollar haircuts, manicures and man purse with his initials in gold on them.

Thats far from "down to earth".

If anyone in the ATP or WTA top 100 had read Don Quixote, I would be amazed Still, they'll have plenty of time to catch up on their reading after they retire, I guess!

i think nadal has better character, is quite shy about stuff and is very humble...
djoker is just so blatantly ridiculous in some of his comments

I've heard that Janko Tipsarevic is a bit different to his colleagues on that point.

Oh, and like 15 years ago he said he wants to be a number one.

Bad Novak, you should show some gratitude!

I bet that you, me and every person on this planet said something wrong in their past, but it has been forgotten... Hasn't it? He is 20 years old, remember? When you talk about his past, you talk of a period when he was a kid! And I really think that it wasn't "a lot" of pompous stuff...

As a person (or, rather, my impression from TV since none of us really know these people), probably Joker. There's a Youtube clip of him doing a cover of Proud Mary in front of a proper band. Any 20-year old dude who loves his classic rock is cool in my book.

Nadal has always shown class so in my opinion it's very hard not to like him - unless he is beating someone you like . I can see people liking other players tennis games, but hard not to think of Nadal as a great person.

Rafa is definitely my second choice... Only thing that I don't like about him is that he supports Real Madrid... I prefer Atletico...

A friend of mine; a pro tour in women knew n talked to Roger. She said that you would think talking to a big no body. Means he is just down to earth.

win a slam and this is what happenes. I can clearly remember a 10 days ago someone posted - who is more likable nadal or Djoko and the result was - 50/50 xactly. Dont believe me - look for a poll which was posted here as a thread like 10 days ago.

There you go. I am sure the situation is like this now, people love federer, nadal has got his fans and djoko is the last because of whatever ( antics or whatever one might find interesteng to bash him ). I xpect this poll to change. If djoko is to maintain his succes people woll grow to like him, if he slips in the rankings also he will get a lot more love from here.

old saying says " people will never forgive you succes" ... now you all know the meaning of this one. I am sure this willl be straightened out thru the next year or two. Why ? We need people like federer tha allmighty, nadal el toro and psycho joker, thats GREAT for tennis !

Of course... That's why so many people died in "burjois" revolutions back in 19th century...

Anyway, Djoko first, Nadal second...

It would be best if he cheers up for Red Star, but for that not being possible, I'm just satisfied with his style on and off court...

I couldn't agree more.

Can anyone seriously tell me that if they were making the kind of silly money Roger is making, that they wouldn't blow a few hundred $$$ on something like this just for the heck of it? I mean come on. It's his money after all. And to him $800 is pocket change, when you consider he made over $2million for his win in New York together with his 2 Masters series finals in Montreal and Cincinnatti to secure the US Open Series.

And to anyone who says he could contribute to charity causes, wake up, because he already does more than all other tennis players (except Agassi) in that regard.
