^^^Yeah, these shoes were built like "tanks", as Jo11yroger labeled them. I'm very surprised they not only lasted so long, but performed very well from beginning to end. Very, VERY good shoes, especially when you consider how cheap they are compared to other manufacturers.

Wilson shoes are really great. I stocked up on some older clearance models last year and when they're gone, I suspect the Trance will be on clearance. I'll be sure to grab at least 5 pairs of them when they do. Wilson builds really nice shoes.

Okay, so I wore this shoe, wore it out before the 6-month, got a replacement pair, but started wearing the Barricade II's instead. And now that I've just about worn my Barricade II's out, I've started breaking in the replacement pair of Trances. And... the flex point on these shoes is way too far towards the end of the shoes for me. They bend about midway down my toes...

I guess wearing a better (IMO) shoe opened my eyes...

A big word of warning for anyone with wider feet.

I bought a pair recently as they were on sale. They are very, very tight around the bottom of the foot around the arch. Those blue hard plastic side straps really clamp the base of the foot really hard around the arch area and there's very little / no bend to the plastic. I have a wider flatter foot and find it uncomfortable - it bends my foot out of shape and make my feet ache within 10 mins, particularly if the laces are strung up tight. I doubt that these are going to loosen because its the hard plastic that is causing the problem not the leather upper.

The shoe itself looks rock solid and I would speculate is going to be very durable. But its a shoe for people with narrow feet with medium/high arches. These shoes are the complete opposite something that the roomier, flatter soled K-Swiss (my normal shoe).
