Check out the Prince 5000 too - I've strung about a dozen racquets on it and it's a pretty sweet machine.

Sorry Guys
Its not available in Europe. Pas de chance. I used it at the last GSS symposium in Texas last year and know for a fact that 2 were sold on this basis alone (not because I used it but because the client could see it in action). Good machine and the clamps are the best on the market. The two action locking is still not as good as my 5502 or 3502 electromagnetic clamps.
All the best guys

Richard, it's available in Poland and Czech rep., they even have a website:

http://www.tenis.shop.pl/inkontrahen...kiet%7CBabolat

http://www.babolatshop.eu/vypletacistroje.htm

Very expensive though, in Poland: 4.233€ or 6.390$

in Czech rep: 5.177€ or 7.816$

That Star5 is $3000 in America and you can call Babolat directly. You can get an optional two more years (to make it five years) on your warranty for $200 more. Also, the Badminton upgrade is $349 or $399 (I forgot already!:/)

So, you need to have a contact there who can send it to you
question is, how much would the shipping be? that beast weighs 141 pounds or 64 kg
Good news is, it's in one box

djeezz, 3000$ !!! that's only 1.976 euro, man what a difference...

Shipping is about 1000 USD. yeah its a beast but you have to know which company is good at handling large packages and don't charge outrageous oversize shipping fees

the quote I got was for about 950 USD. I think the only way to circumvent it is to say you're shipping to yourself cuz you are relocating to Europe or what not.

I have no idea how much a sensor costs over there

Default sensor vs star 5

well a sensor in belgium costs about 10 000 euro! what about the warrenty whit the machine. Will babolat belgium will give me the same when i buy the star 5 in America ... A 1000 euro shipping cost is ok with the low dollar these days ...
Only searching a good shop right now!! The goodwill of you guys will be necessary... I'm searching ...

In this months RSI Magazine someone is selling a "used" Babolat Star5 for $2,800, he might be willing to send it overseas. I can get you his name and phone number if you are interested.
