HEAD Liquidmetal Radical tour BEAST!!

Hey, just wondering if anyone uses the LM radical tour. Got mine 2 months ago and its a monster of a stick. Its the most stable racket i have ever used and especially good at the baseline. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys players rackets. Also are there any other rackets out there simliar to this thanks.

Unfortunately, my run may be ending some time soon. A few months ago I found a crack in one....so now I'm down to two.

I modified my LM Radicals to get very close to the specs of the LM Rad Tour and they are my go to weapons of choice.

Keep in mind that if you can't get a tour you can try to create a copy.

Interestingly, the specs for weight/balance/beam width (325g/315mm/21mm) are the same as the MG Prestige Pro, but with different string pattern and probably flex/stiffness.

Strung Weight: 12.3

I liked this frame when I demoed it, but I think the Flexpoint Rad Tour is better. Same stability, but easier to swing and better spin with the 16x19 pattern. A bit more user-friendly IMO.

FXP Rad tour is totally different with the 100 si head and open string pattern. Not bad, just totally different.

I've been considering this racquet, though I looked at the swingweight and wasn't sure about it. I've played with the LM Radical, LM Prestige, and PC600, and even though the PC600 is a heavier racquet, it's swingweight is only at 320.

What're your guys opinions on the swingweight of the racquet ? I remember thinking that the LM Prestige was pretty hefty, but I loved the feeling of the PC600 having a high static weight but lower swingweight.

A girl i used to train with uses them, in hindsight i probably should have got a couple of them. She spanked the hell out of the balls with them. She strung them with Wilson Gold. Made an awesome cracking sound at impact.

Those specs are unstrung. It's about 12.2-12.4 Oz. Strung (with a leather grip)

want to unfortunately separate myself from the frame

i have since moved on to the wilson n90s due to lm radicals out of stock, needed backups

I used to hit with the FP rad. tour and did try the LM version for a bit but it just was not as good a stick in my opinion as the FP. I have since moved on but just thought I'd share my past experience.

I'm in the same boat. I was thinking of moving away from them also becaues they are so hard to get.

i have spotted a few lm radicals around my area but not the tours,
i greatly depise the new models i.e fxp and microgels.

im intending to sell mine if anyone is keen
