In a hybrid, what 2 types of string give the best combination? is it synthetic + poly, multi/gut, or gut/ poly??
Also, what goes in the mains, and what goes in the crosses, and which should have more /less tension. thanks for clearing this up for me.

Most of us use Poly in the mains and synth gut or crosses. Of course not everyone is the same and not all have money to burn

I think its a feel issue. You'll have to see for yourself. You may not even like a hybrid and find a full string job gives you more feel.
