It's his shopping list.

Wow you got that up quick, it's only 5 games old.

It's a note to remind him to not rush in between points.

lol, the only player I can think of that takes more time between points is Jim Thomas (a doubles player primarily). He takes ridiculously long b/w points.

I'm sure it's not a real tattoo. Why would be tattoo his playing hand? plus it's not exactly in a painless area.

Would you jeopardize your training etc. for a stupid mindless tat on your playing hand?

Here's a transcript:

"A champion always picks his asss"

either that or it's to remind him what the signs uncle Tony is making mean.

I can verify

it is a tattoo but it is not permanent, it is henna, an ethnic indian substance that stains the skin.

Wow I'm watching that match right now! The commentators are horrible.

From here it almost looks like gothic letters.

Makes sense. It's written horizontally, and he'd read those words like he would look at a watch (for the people who are still kind of confused about it). I thought it was gothic letters, too, but this kind of clears things up.

Looks like a game plan to beat Tsonga.

interesting that such a ritualistic player would suddenly introduce such a foreign element into his game...
