My new 2h'er is pretty solid. It just doesn't feel natural to me.
That 2h bh video i posted last night is about 3 months old. BEFORE I switched to 1H.

So do you guys think my 2h'er back THEN is solid enough to switch from my 1h NOW?
The video link is here for anyone who hasn't seen it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1bdNFgcsHg

I'd say he's been playing with this family since he was a kid. But rationalizes the one year comment by telling himself he's only taken it "seriously", like told himself he wants to play in college, for about a year. Anyway, everything looks fine except for maybe the backhand. It's looking shaky, and against stronger hitters, it looks like it could easily break down. Create a more stable base. And like most juniors, your footwork looks a bit sloppy, so really work hard on the footwork because unless you hit a growth spurt, your game, especially in college (and you should be able to make most non-top 25 D-3 teams even if you see no action for the first year or two) is going to have to be predicated on consistency and speed. Cool we're both lefties. But yeah, your serve and volleys are very simple, at least your serve is which is good. I also notice you like to kick your foot up after you do your split-step to get to a ball and that you like to flip your raquet a lot when you bring your raquet back which I think will just make things more complicated because if someone hits the ball deep, by the time you start swinging you push the ball back by flipping your wrist since you'll be hitting late. These are only minor things, please don't change your strokes because of this.
