Thumbs down Bad References

I guess it's past time for somebody to do a compilation of all posters who have tried to scam, scammed, or have been caught trying to scam. This is essentially a list of all people to avoid doing a transaction with. I hope TW sticky's this thread in all forums.

I'll start the list off by posting the following people I found through a quick search. I'll update this list as needed, if other posters start posting.

Avoid the following people:

Charles Nguyen (nguyenc_07@yahoo.com)
Tom Jones of Broadlands, VA 20148
Richard Nguyen / ismashall
"Hoooon"
Band WilsonBabolat
John Doe
Francesco Broggini Again
Dave Lin aka Knight Terrence Kuo III
Victor (from Singapore)

jason whitman
kinneyrhs
CWINE979
chris osterburg
DIMA (supposed real name is Bruno Garcia)
wlm1966
Huy Nguyen
promega98
Sean Kimball
LOVEASIAN23
7INFINITY
Birdword
ASK1ED
Wayne Martin
tennis4losers
Rona Paritsky
Sniper Jedi (aka Shawn Cooke)
bblttnns200@aol.com
agassiguy23, baselineplaya, AmeliasDad and AmeliasDad23 (all the same guy)
David Sollenberger/DXS http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=138391
Robbie Panopio/ss2miraitrunks21 http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=128291
David Breen/David7410 http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=86966
Lee Levine/Birdword http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=79959
D. Beausoleil/ Wildmoose 31 http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=72325
Victor Luk/easykid http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=171178
BlackJesus
Dumbledore
francesco179
fbroggio

This is not a complete list, and I encourage anybody and everybody to add to this list. Hopefully, we can create an almost complete list of all scammers/frauds on this board and cut down on the scams. Also, if you feel that your name is up here wrongfully, feel free to argue your case. However, please keep the profanities out, and please argue in a manner befitting mature human beings.

Edit: please also note that if somebody comes up with a name containing "23", please note this is probably Matt Ellis, again. Again, this is just probably.

My appologies to Pistol Pete. Somebody had complained prematurely about you, and I had added your name to the list without researching further. If you've lost any trades/sales, you have my sincerest appologies.

Hey Meowmix, i see the list here has the ID tennuts, does it mean it's me? I can see that it doesn't have the "lower dash" there but it's pretty much the same. So let me know if it's me. Explanations? Thanks

My mistake. You were accused by ximian of selling a Pro Tour 280 in not that great condition and labeling it an 8. I did not read far enough into the thread to realize that both you and the buyer had some problems. On further review, I believe that you made a mistake, an honest mistake, and you were not trying to scam anybody.

I would add Shawn Cooke, who goes by SniperJedi and other names. There were several names. He claimed to be a teaching pro in North Carolina somewhere.

Why paultran? I knoiw he had a BS buyer complain aboiut him, but I saw the racquets and it was all about a $5 grommet.

While your list is a good idea, maybe in this case, you need to remove paultran from this list (unless I missed something).

I checked the only "bad" refrence for paultran and its bogus. I doubt you read the whole thread. You need to remove his name from the list because he is an excellent seller/buyer (I have had numerous transactions with him). Sometimes a transaction does not go well and not because there is a scam. He offered a return and even gave the buyer $5 to get a grommet kit.

Several people had problems with one agassiguy23 who has another name too. Something like baselineplaya. There are some threads about it.

At some time you may need to copy the list out, sort it, and copy back in.

Noted, and added. It's funny that this guy doesn't even both to deny he's Agassiguy23. Anybody got one of his many email adresses?

What thread? Please post a link.

Oh, btw, your name has been removed from the list. Vkartiv stated that the two of you got things settled out.

That's the problem, you can't. For example, ameliasdad, ameliasdad23, Agassiguy23, and baselineplaya are all the same person. The person has a ton of email adresses, and since all you need to do to register is provide a legit email adress, well, there's a problem.

For the most part, it's up to the buyer to realize that something's fishy. I've tried to provide email adresses in the advent that some scammer uses a previous email adress and can get nailed for that. Also, I know that as soon as somebody's name gets posted with an "avoid this person" title, that person will definately jump ship. The sooner they jump, the better.

Default Addition to THE LIST

Hey meowmix, can you add ngray99 - Nick Gray to the list? Thanks! Just a question, can this post become a sticky? I think it would help users in general.

Not yet. I will give him one week to defend himself. At the end of one week, his name will be added. After all, you posted the negative feedback yesterday (and it seems like he's selling stuff, again). I left him a warning in his FS thread. We'll see how it goes.
