Talking I Got Ernest Gulbis' Racket!!!

I was watching ernest gulbis practice during the day at River Oaks country club getting ready for the Men's Claycourt Championships and he got mad after he missed a shot and smacked it down on the ground 3 or 4 times until it broke. After the practice session I asked ernest if I could have the broken racket? he said sure, then i asked him to autograph it. He did.

Also my friend and I were hitting on the clay courts in the back of the facility and ernest gulbis was jogging the track right next to the courts we were hitting on. He asked him if he wanted to hit with us. "Ernest said well I can hit tomorrow after my doubles match." Maybe thats a no. we're decent 4.0 players but no comparison at all to Ernest. I will post some pics very soon as soon as I have dinner I will come back and revise this post and post some pics. I will also post some pics of the Men's Claycourt Champs today.

Here are some pics of this racket:

no markings on inside the throat like consumer head mg prestige rackets. it has a sticker that says 28 kilo 27 kilo, and march 29. it is also a 4 1/2 grip size

There is a lot of lead tape under the bumper as you can see from this picture where the crack is:

Also, the racket is 12.5 oz

Its cool...Thanks for taking pics and listing the weight so quickly. Does it say what kind of Pacific string?

You should take off the replacement grip and see if theres lead.

^^^I really cannot tell what kind of pacific string it is. Its been hit with since march 29 so the lettering on the strings is worn off. Also the mains and the crosses are the same string from the looks of it. It is also definitely a 17 guage. this is the string i think it is: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/desc...FIC-PXF17.html

also, i actually wanna keep the grip original as i'm going to put it on my shelf, i tested the balance of the frame and its head heavy. I'm wouldn't doubt there's lead all over this racket though.

Nice pic! and Congrats on getting a pro's frame- It's a cool thing to have! Wierd request I know, but would you be able to tell me whether it's a leather or synthetic grip under the TG (Obviously, If you don't want to touch the grip then no problem!)

Thanks!

Just a note to Leelord and others on this thread, since no one has caught it. His name is ERNESTS, not "Ernest". I know it seems weird to us, but it has an "S" at the end. Just thought you'd want to get his name right if you're going to talk to him or attempt to hit with him.
