Default NEOS height adjustment and manual questions

Hello-

I have just recently purchased a Prince NEOS 1000 used (it is one year old) so it did not come with a manual. All of my google searches for a NEOS manual have turned up the old Ektelon manual for this stringing machine that looks like it came from The Smithsonian (even Tennis Warehouse has a link to this dinosaur bone manual on their page listing for the NEOS!).

At any rate... I am trying to figure out if the top of the NEOS can be raised so that when a frame is mounted, that the head assembly can rotate a full 360 degrees without the racquet handle hitting the tension head.

I recently sold my 1993 model Alpha SV upright and got this NEOS but I must admit that I miss the full 360 degree rotation of my old Alpha. Can anyone tell me if I can adjust this NEOS to do the same?

And also- does anybody have an electronic version of a newer manual that they would be willing to email?

Thanks in advance!

I am trying to solve this issue tonight as I have a few racquets to string. I tried to contact Prince but did not realize that they closed so early so any help today would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again!

I don't think it can, though it's been a while since I've been around a NEOS.

You can't fix it, that is just how it is.

cool... thanks for the reply. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't overlooking an adjustment somewhere.

in the "rotation" category, I must say that so far it's:
ALPHA - 1
PRINCE - 0

but man... these NEOS clamps are the bees knees compared to what I'm used to!

Also Alpha offers the Cobra Tensioning system which allows the tensioner to pull on the same plane as the string and then lower for 360.

Do you have info on that?

I asked Mark about it when I was talking to him about the Apex II.

It seems that all of the Alpha models feature 360-degree rotation. I never knew how nice that feature was until I strung on a machine that did not have it. Oh well... I think I'll adjust to not having it. Everyone else has right?

You will adjust. It just takes time. Even the Revo isn't 100% 360-degree. The handle catches on the gripper sometimes.

Yeah... It's kinda like Gonzo... what it lacks in movement, it makes up for in muscle mass!

The same thing will happen if you add a Wise.
