Somebody suggested a Viagra racquet in a post - I feel as if we've got them. Is it me or have others noticed in many pieces of feedback lately that people are describing various racquets as "stiffer than I expected" based on the specs? Is it all the hyper-ultra-extreme graphite or are we getting older and more sensitive? Do we need to go retro for a plusher feel?

In answer to your last question, Yes. I realized this several years ago, but only about a year and a half ago did I actually go back to using frames from the 80s full time. If I hit with a frame from the current millenium now, it's simply out of curiosity - and I promptly return it to its owner. The only racquet I own that does not come from the 70s or 80s is a Fischer Vac Pro 90.
