Get your facts straight, the i/FXP/LM/MG Radical MPs have all been CAP'd before and there are plenty of pictures to prove it here on TTW.

If you want pictures, I would suggest asking Chris in Japan. He CAP'ed his wife's MicroGel Radical Midplus and even took pictures of it for his thread. Enjoy yourself.

Excuse my naivete, but why would you want full cap grommets on a racquet? I've seen the MG Prestige and MG Radical and I would prefer the latter. Is there a playability issue? thx for enlightening me.

...still wondering. What are the advantages to full cap grommets over the style of grommets used in say the MG Radical Pro?

It's not rocket science. CAP grommets are heavier than standard Radical grommets, so they offer more stability/power and increased frame stiffness.

I guess you haven't hit with a PT630 with CAP grommets.
FYI, I used your "brand new" frame with and without CAP grommets (with identical strings/tension) and the wet-noodle feel was exaggerated/pronounced when I removed the CAPs. P.S. I've also de-CAPed my i.Prestige frame recently, and it plays much more flexible/less stiff.

Maybe it swings different, but it doesn't change the stiffness of the frame.

Why are you on two different user IDs? Does TW know about this?
