Default Free Videos On The Serve For Anyone Interested...

Hey Everybody,

I replied to a couple of posters looking for help with their serve, but figured I'd just start a new thread here.

For anyone who's interested, I've put up quite a few free 'mini-lesson' videos that explain and demonstrate the serve on my blog:

http://coachkyriltennis.blogspot.com

Feel free to leave your comments about how the videos do - or don't! - help your understanding of the serve.

What a great community of people here, players helping other players - the way it should be!

Have a Great Weekend, Everyone!

Yeah, it was popularized by many of us. However, we are doing it for free and it has always been completely free for me. I noticed your "blogs" and also noticed your advertisements.

Nice site, like the videos on the serve. I hope to see a lot more videos on the serve and the return.

Hey Everybody,

Alright dudes; listen up:

I'm not 'hawking' anything here. I put out FREE videos to help people for FREE on my blog - and on YouTube.

Just because there is a small advert on the right side of my blog page for my product does not make me a shill.

Yes, there is a web address embedded in the videos for a FREE report and FREE newsletter.

I have had - and continue to have - nothing but rave reviews for the FREE content I put out.

I help the average guy/gal 'get it' - for FREE.

I came here and saw how everyone was helping everyone out, and knew I could do the same.

I know that in the internet age people are skeptical of anything and everything they come across online.

That's why I make sure that I am on the videos actually practicing what I preach and doing what I teach.

Integrity is a huge part of instruction to me.

Keep Up the Good Work, Fellas, and if there's anything I can ever do to help don't hesitate to let me know!

Make It A Great Weekend!

Coach Kyril, I read your story behind the "10 Laws of Tennis Success." About how you went from scratch to playing D1 Tennis within 4 months. I am kind of in the same situation you were in back in high school and I too would like to play college tennis. Can you tell me a bit about what is in the E-Book?

Thanks

"We're sorry, this video is no longer available".

Have you deleted the videos ?

Hey Sentinel - I sure hope I haven't deleted them!

I went to my blog just now and all appears to be working fine.

Could be your browser; I know the videos play in explorer and firefox,; not sure about netscape.

All the videos are up on YouTube, so you can just go there and type in 'Coach Kyril' and you shouled be able to watch 'em all.

I got the nets up on the courts and should be able to start doing videos outside so that the light will be much better; but as of right now here in Wisconsin, it's 31 degrees and snowing

Will post more soon.

All the Best Fellas,

Coach Kyril

Great job. Love your video and teaching style. !

however...

Please consider getting a wireless microphone!!
LINK

And get outside for better lighting. Also, get a good tripod and raise it up to head high and show show different angles (bring an assistant camera person ) Edit with simple cross fades,

great stuff

Good stuff coach Kyril. I esp. liked video 4 which shows you varying the amount of spin and pace. I thought the one on the slice serve was helpful too. It's helpful to have visuals rather than the clockface analogies and wondering where and how to strike the ball.

i tried your tip for the kick serve and my second serve was on fire! my hitting partner is about 5'8"-5'9" and i was kicking it just barely above his head! i normally get it to go neck-height but this time it was just barley above his head. awesome stuff. kudos!

The vids are working from the blog today.

The explanation of various spins serves was nice, I have read these earlier in text but to see it explained in a video makes it very clear.

Today I tried out some pronation. Realized that I have not been pronating at all, I thought it automatically happens. So the serves, even flat ones, have been slicing in.

One question: Does the service motion of pros vary from first to second serve ? Take Sampras and Federer for instance.

Coach Kyril, I hope you don't mind my asking you a comparative question. I have been studying the Nick Bolletteiri Sonic Serve Video. In what ways does your power serve differ from his sonic serve ?
Do you also go with the hip bending ?

Sir
Could you please see some basic serve questions on http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=173136

You need only check 3 or 4 posts in last 24 hours, not old ones.

Hey Everybody,

Glad you're enjoying the videos. Keep at it; watch all of the videos and try doing the drills; if you get lost on the blog you can always just go to YouTube and type in Coach Kyril; again, all free stuff, no adverts.

Thanks for the kind words folks.

If you have any questions or comments on the videos, just post 'em here and I'll be sure to reply asap.

As far as Nick B's Sonic Serve, sorry I haven't seen the material.

Oh yeah, hey Sentinel - I'll check out that serving thread as well.

Make It A Great Day, Everyone!
