Default clutch question

ok dumb question please bear with me. Using a clutch if the weight is below I just turn and hold the clutch drum to get the weight horizontal and move the clamp while still holding the drum? I got my mains done now onto to crosses

Spectra, do you have an sp swing? and did you get it off the bay?

No, just hold the tensioning mechanism and lift the weight. You'll hear the clicking... let it click 1-2 times then release the clutch/tensioning mechanism and then release the weight. Don't touch the clamps.

I think he has the SP swing, so there is no clicking on that clutch.

Oh... then do everything above except listen and count clicks...

Hold the clutch, lift the arm about an inch or so above horizontal, release the clutch then slowly release the drop weight.
