This will surely improve your fitness.

Buy: HDMI-> (hopefully DVI )

if you need help figuring out which is which.

monoprice.com

*edit*: Do you mean PJ258D? I can't find much info on it, I'm guessing you will need to use component cables.

Not saying you're wrong but I've found so called "Computer ports" to be VGA ports rather than DVI ones...

Yeah, it has VGA and component. Use component for the PS3.

Yeah, that specific projector has a VGA input and a component input, among others. Component would be the best bet for hooking the PS3 up given that projectors specs.

Component limits you to 720p from what I remember about searching for setting up all my stuff.

Nope, component can do 1080i and 720p, which are the max supported by his projector. Personally I would recommend 720p, but you may as well try out both.

Yes.

What you need is an HDMI connector on one end (plugs into PS3) and Component (Red, Blue, Green) video and RCA audio(Red, White or something) for the projector end.

Most places charge an arm and a leg, but monoprice.com has excellent prices and quality.

Rated well, and less than 6 dollars. You'll get charged $20-80 if you buy them in a store.

No that's not right...

And WBF, I'm don't own a PS3 so I won't say this with certainty but...

I'm pretty sure the PS3s "AV Multi-out" comes with a Component Video cable ? Since I remember there being a thing about the PS3 not coming with an HDMI cable so I assume that it came with a component video cable.... I know the 360 does .

Sorry for not responding on time, but it seems like the shipment of the game console will be delayed. However, I do have the projector. I am not sure how to get the audio working for the projector... i only got the cable with "red, white, and yellow" on it.. it works fine on the PS2, just cant get the audio to work -_-

The red and white cables should give audio signal whilst the yellow one is the video cable..

The Red/Green/Blue connection is called 'component'. It is the equivalent of the single yellow 'composite' cable; only video (obviously much better quality). Both component (R,G,B plugs) and composite (Yellow) cable are video only, and thus need the audio connections as well (typically red and white).

You plug the component or composite (component being the better choice, as it supports HD) cable into the projector, and the audio (red/white) into whatever you want to play your audio.
