Default Sectional Suggestions

Okay I'm going into the southern California Sectionals and I'm facing a player whose ranking is #84 and mine is rather low because of lack of tournament play, but I do play ALOT of tennis and my coach says i'm a potential top 40 player in this section.
So I need some advice on how to beat this guy.
Any tips.
I have a great basline game but I'm wondering what I should do, I occasionaly come to the net, and I know how to.
Any patterns of play you can suggest?
Or anything that works great?
thanks.

Default potential top 40 player in this section

if you are a 'potential top 40 player in this section' what are you worrying about? just do like KC and let your racket do the talking,,, good luck to all of you at the sectionals ....

Nice job on bringing home the 4th place hardware in the SB 18's. Now you get to drop down to 16's and really test your game, trying to get through Sasha Gryz (who also took the 4th place trophy in the SB 16's) to make the main draw.

Do you know his game?

Steady player, no big weapons, plays from the back mostly, might change up the pace a little with some high balls and some slice. Not much to really point out.

SStolar will be a better match.

no I don't know him... the 16s boys is the toughest division to be in... there's a lot of sleepers out there who gets better so fast and a guy you don't know about can get hot and ,watch out... ie: Kosakowski ... hope to see you in the main draw....
