Kevin, I'm all for huntin some scalps. There wouldn't be any firewater involved, would there? BTW, I have a little Cherokee blood running through my veins, and everytime I tell someone they never fail to say "oh, you're part Cherokee? Me too!" Let's see if anyone on here is also part Cherokee. Is it an urban legend that everyone is part Cherokee?

Why do you question my sincerity, Morpheus? Because I don't share the liberal opinion/view of what my attitude should be regarding my place in this world? Because I am not whining, moaning, complaining about my lot in life? Because I am not demanding reparations? Because I have been able to help myself without relying on the assistance of others (save massive student loans)? I won't get too personal on an internet message board but to answer your question, I am originally from Virginia. My father was Pamunkey, my mother Scottish. The Pamunkey were a member of the Powhatan Confederacy and part of the Algonquian-
speaking tribes of the VA tidewater region. Anything else I can answer for you? What is your race? Where are you from? Sweet tea or unsweetened?

That's pretty good, @wright. Yeah, everyone in SW VA and NC always says they are part Cherokee. I think it really is an urban legend. But, the Cherokee were the largest and richest tribe in the southeast at one time (maybe they still are), so it is definitely a possibility. And by the way, I really hope everyone takes these posts with the humor in which they are intended. If there are any other Native American/American Indian posters out there that aren't as easy-going about this topic, I apologize. But like I said in the thread that got deleted, I totally agree with Chris Rock when he said "If we can't make fun of ourselves, we really do have problems". By the way @wright, if you remember the beer post from the old board (the one that had close to 100 responses), I used to catch lots of grief ie., "drinking firewater", especially when Crazy Horse Malt Liquor came out. Of course, it wasn't out long because a few Native American groups made a big issue of it and it was pulled off the market.

LOL Crazy Horse Malt Liquor. Here's something to laugh about, in the state where I live there is a huge Choctaw reservation and they were building a new golf course to go along with the casino. The chief got to name the golf course, and what do you think he would choose as a fitting name? That's right "Dancing Rabbit Creek Country Club", named after one of the biggest slaughters of Indians this nation has ever seen.

Doesn't surprise me, @wright. I went to school with a girl that was Choctaw/Creek. The Creek were known to be tough cookies back in the day and she fit that stereotype to a T. Quick temper. I just got back from 'Bama (Huntsville and B-Ham to see friends). I guess being from Mississippi you really aren't pulling for 'Bama in the Elite 8? Have a good one.

Default French women

You're a good man spinbaltz!

French women are hot! I'm married to one and she doesn't have hairy pits and hates smokers. She's very smart, and appreciates the American way of life. She detests the whimpy attitude of Mr. Jacque Chirac and the inability of the government to deal with the inevitable.
She came here 25 years ago because French women are kept down by the system. Here you can become the dream!
She's not from Paris, thank god, but from Marseilles
