Well you'd have to say Georgia since they won it the last two years. As for next year. USC should be good along with Ohio State. As I said in the crazy Stanford thread they lose one player that played in the NCAA matches and he was only playing doubles.
The usual teams just reload.

Next year, Stanford will be the ITA favorite to win the NCAA. We should get the realistic picture in the fall when the boys compete in the fall tournaments.

Georgia lost Helgeson and Flores, but you can never count them out. Schnugg is a beast.
Of course, I may be biased being from Georgia and all... |

Ohio State will be good I think again but look for Indiana to keep moving up, top 20 team I predict.

2nd that. even though they are a Junior College. they are unbelieveable (sp?). i know one of the incoming freshman girls going there. I live close to it. its pretty exciting to watch them play. They are just as good as any D2 college, imo.

Gotta go with Georgia. With the Hope scholarship available to all in state students, they can spread teh 4.5 scholarships a little further. They may recruit too many foreign players to please some, but they always have some local talent to fill the gaps.

My Alma Mater of course, South Carolina State.
They might not be that strong in comparison to the bigger schools, but I have to stick with the spoon that fed me. Last edited by MEAC_ALLAMERICAN : 07-21-2008 at 11:05 AM. |
