What's a good, cushy shoe?
I've never found a good replacement for the Reebok Bonzer.

Yonex 305, 306, and Asics Gel Resolution get a lot of attention on these boards due to their superior cushioning. If I weren't so happy with my Barricade IIs, I'd give them a shot.
Good luck.

A bit expensive but the Lacoste Repel is one comfy shoe.

Why not look at the Reebok pumps if you're used to their shoes?

The yonex 305 was good but the cushioning didn't last long for me.

Prince T20s - amazing cushioning. And, the black/white ones are on sale right now.
If you buy Prince, get 1/2 size smaller than normal. |

I have found the Nike Air Max series have a very cushy feel to them. I've tried lots of others on but seem to get back to the Air Max series.

Vapor 4s.
They're fast (as fast as you are at least). There's not a lot of rubber on them however there's just the right amount. If getting to the net is the main objective then you're gonna want light-weight and stable. I've used a lot of cheap shoes but these are very fast and light, witrh just enough stability coming from the flanges on the bottom under footpad. If you're lunging and landing heel-first (to get to those nasty passing shots) then thankfully there is enough rubber under-heel to cushion the blow. Not cheap though. |

I found the Reebok match day pumps to be incredibly cushioned. Heavy as bricks though.
The Yonex's are great but as another poster pointed out, I can't them over here in the UK at all! I can't stomach the extra postage from the US at the moment (50% the price of the shoes!). Maybe when I have a big order. They are quite high on the foot though if that makes a difference I hear good things about the Asics Gel Resolutions. I have their Gel running shoes and they are great, the only ones I wear |

Max are you feet wide or narrow? Flat, medium, or high arch. If they are normal size any of the shoes listed would do. Prince/NB/Wilson have a tendency to have a wider cut in the toe box. Cushion-wise the T20 are really cushioned but not really supportive for some players. The best bet is Yonex 306, Asics resolution and the Nike IV/V. Give them a try and walk around the home with them and see which fits better for you. I personally used the Asics. |

I used Bonzer's for years and must say that the Triple Break Pumps are very well-cushioned and comfy. I wore sz.9 Bonzers and bought 3 pair of TBP's sz.9 without even trying them and they fit me perfectly.

I loved my Nike Air Zooms which was like walking on a bag of marshmellows those shoes made playing on hardcourts enjoyable. But since my last pair has gone to the garbage I found KSwiss Staiblors to be a very nice replacement.
