I string a friend's Head Flexpoint 10 (115 sq in) at 4 lbs over the stated max of 64 because he wants a very firm stringbed. No problems, and he loves the firm bed.
No. A racquet strung on a dropweight machine will feel tighter than a lockout type machine. If anything, you want to string it a few lbs. less... especially if you let the string stretch out a bit under tension.
