Anyone want to take a guess on tomorrow's scoreline. I'm going with 2-1 to Holland.

England 0-2 Holland

That's my best guess.

Did you get a chance to see tomorrows papers yet? Mourinho was in London looking at houses, on the day Villas-Boas had an interview in a Portuguese paper slamming Torres. Ouch! It's not looking good for him.

Yes, lots on it such as above. As stated previously, he'd be my number one preference for next Spurs manager I reckon. Wouldn't have thought Wenger is going (unless he's had enough secretly.) Between Chelsea and Spurs perhaps? Chelsea have the millions but are JM and Roman able to work together again? Is AVB really done? Spurs seemingly have a very tasty squad with which JM could work with and make additions to. We don't have the spending power of the blues though. Plus also is Levy more interested in Moyes?

"Yes, Holland by a 1-goal margin", crys Mystic Ross gazing into his crystal ball.

well. it's a given that Mou is not in good terms with the "forces" in Real, given how they keep criticising him despite having the Liga in the bag by now. so it wouldn't surprise me that he moves by the end of the season back to UK.

on the other hand, the AVB news you tell me about is something unexpected... However badly Torres has been performing!!!

Wow, Scott Parker is England captain, didn't see that one coming but I like it.

Tired of the old skool set of candidates: Terry, Rio, Lamps, Gerrard, etc. They haven't worked out over the last 8 years so time to try a new one.

Me too, though I expect it will be roundly condemned generally and around this thread no doubt (think it's his haircut actually. ) Looks to me like Pearce is making something of a play here.

I don't really care about the result, more interested to see how awesome the black Holland kit will look in action.

Plus one, nothing like a black uni. Bayern Munich's CL uni's last week were top shelf.

You're right, I wasn't really expecting him to be so honest about Torres. I think he wants Drogba and Torres both gone in the summer, so he can bring in Falcao and someone else, maybe Higuain or someone like that.

Yeah it's a tough one, but I think it looks like Spurs or Chelsea. Spurs have the better players, are younger and it looks like they will be in the Champions League, whilst Chelsea won't.

On the other hand Mourinho loves Chelsea, the reception he got when he came back with Inter Milan a few years ago surprised even him I think. The fans worship him, and he's also said numerous times how he has unfinished business at the club. He was the one who built the team that is falling apart now, no manager since has the same respect from the players so haven't been able to handle them and move them on to create the next generation. Mourinho's relationship with Abramovich was said to be better than ever a year after he left, Abramovich was giving Mourinho presents and they talk so that wouldn't be a problem.

It's tough, he can go back to a club he loves, where he has unfinished business and an open cheque book. Or he can go for a new challenge with a young, exciting team on the up who will be playing Champions League football. He would make a success of both jobs I think, it's just a question of what challenge he wants next. Taking Tottenham to elite level would appeal to him, as would going back to an old club (something he hasn't done yet) and saving them from freefall. Will be an interesting summer.

I guess we all forgot his man of the match performance against Spain in November.

4-2 Holland, but only if Sturridge gets the 2 for England

If not then 4-0 should be a good laugh.

Well, England weren't bad at times tonight against a superior Dutch side. Parker gets caught a little too often in possession for my liking, and in dangerous areas.

But not bad overall for such an inexperienced side.

I wish England had played a bit quicker, lots of passes square and back. Still, nice flashes of promise.

Fun to see Robben playing well and maybe best for England that Huntelaar had to go off.

More opinion on Mourinho coming to the Prem next year/the candidates.

How about City, I'm thinking also?... I won't lie though, I'm desperate for him to come to Spurs!

I rate Mouriho but doubt Spurs (or Arsenal) will spend the transfer money for him to be successful. I know he did well at Porto but he's spent like a drunken sailor at every other place he's been.

Either way, I hope he comes back-it will be more interesting with him.

He also inherited a hell of a team at Porto - Deco, Carvalho, Diego, Paolo Ferreria, etc...

You're spot on though, even at Inter he spent and wasted tons of cash. IIRC he even bought Ricardo Quaresma for something like 17 or 18 million plus a few youth players. And he SUCKED at Inter, and then sucked again at Chelsea.
