Anything would be better than that game last week, it almost made me start watching the NBA.....lol
Nice work Fena, you've got to be pleased. Tomorrow should be a good one, curious to see how Milan performs-depends on how closely the ref calls the game. If he lets Milan gets physical with the little men, it could be a result for AC. Is Van Bommel playing or is he suspended....couldn't remember?

I actually wasn't impressed Benfica for all the talent they have in their side, TBH. I expected a lot more from them.

Mancini doesn't seem to get along with the British managers too well especially if they have physical tactics..a bit ironic as City are one of the most physical sides in the league. |

Top notch defensive job by Milan this evening. Haven't seen Barca's passing fluency quite so impaired for a while. That said, the penalty decision declined was just insane. I also reckon it will be a different story in Spain.

You're right. Milan were excellent at the back, but to say that the pitch was in great shape or to say that Barcelona didn't have a legit shout for a penalty on the tackle on Sanchez would be a lie. The result was somewhat surprising, and I think Pep will try to even things out next week for the return leg - I wouldn't be surprised to see Barca smash Milan, TBH. I think I'm going to go put down a few on that.

I think i'll say 2-2, with Milan going through on away goals. That would be the best thing for the tournament imo. Showing it is possible to knock Barcelona out over 2 legs and seeing the mighty Milan back where they feel they belong after so long, it would be good to see. |

At the start of the season I went for Bayern Munich, which i'll stick with. I'm hoping for someone other than the big 2 in Spain win it, someone like Bayern Munich, AC Milan or Chelsea Ferriera said Chelsea are looking to do what Liverpool did in 2005, that kind of story that doesn't happen often is what i'm hoping for, either that or Munich winning it on their home ground. |

OUCH! Well, they're a better shot to win it than Spurs ever will be.

Hmm, something lost in translation or misconstrued I think re my earlier post. I wasn't having a dig at Chelsea at all. For the record, I think RM or Barca will win. And as an outside bet I choose the blues.

They've just announced the Spurs - Chelsea FA Cup semi will be played on a Sunday evening @ 6 pm... WTFlip is that about?
Papers full of Brendan Rodgers as potentially our manager this morning (Levy has supposedly targeted him.) Although risky, I'm pretty much in favour of this idea. As someone who's created a Welsh version of Barca (LOL), he's the Prem manager of the year imo. But we'll see...

They say Liverpool couldn't play on Sunday because it's the same date as the Hillsborough disaster, and they can't make them play on that day. Man Utd play on the same day as the Munich tragedy and use it as part of the way they remember the lost, bit strange that one. |

Also from the POV of Chelsea, now having to play the semi late Sunday and then the CL game just 3 days later, well, that's tough. And don't forget other countries go out on a limb and reschedule domestically in a way that assists teams when they are in similar situations. I'm surprised the FA isn't helpfully throwing in an England friendly on the Monday just to keep everyone on their toes.

Only just heard this about Petrov. Just too appalling for words. One minute your captaining Villa against Arsenal. The next you're fighting for your life...

Don't think my heart can take much more of this season, fooking hell crazy game and now absolutely vital to beat Arse away to even stay in the race and not have United win the title at Eastlands
