Frankie Lampard keeps scoring. Really hope he stays at the club and sees out his career there. Oscar has also impressed me a lot, his goal against Sparta Prague was very nice.

Lampard has to stay, he and Mata have been the backbone of Chelsea's side for two years. Also LFC have taken the step forward . now for the two steps back :'(

Oscar has been great, we expected it to take a season or two for him, but Hazard is the one who hasn't quite done it.

Who knows where we would be without Mata, to of played as well as he has all year in a team that is so disjointed is incredible. For me he's been the player of the year by quite a distance, although i'm sure van Persie will win it.

What?! Dude Hazard has been great at times. Yeah he's not in top form every match but he's still young and has time and when he does decide to show his class he's amazing.

Lucas Piazon is the one for me who hasn't quite done it...yet, because he's only 19.

Of the 3 creative players, Oscar and Mata have been better. Most people seem to agree that Hazard hasn't quite lived up to the hype surrounding his transfer, possibly to do with the way he went about it and almost played clubs off against each other at times. He built it up a bit too much I think, so people were expecting something truly special.

He's not been bad at all, he's just not quite lived up to the billing he built for himself just yet. It's his first season though so there's plenty of time.

As a Liverpool fan I am happy with their play. Rodgers coming in and implementing his style of play wasn't going to yield immediate results, but their play has improved throughout the year. They are doing a great job of possessing the ball now, building play fluidly from the back, and getting the ball in the final third. Their major weakness has been sustaining this type of energy for 90 minutes, putting shots on target, and marking on set pieces. Far too often they end up controlling possession and SOG but don't make enough of their chances. Still, with Sturridge and Coutinho I believe they are on the rise and should contend for a spot in Europe next season.

I'm not sure about Coutinho, I saw alot of him at Inter and there seems to be something missing with him. He's a good player, maybe he'll learn at Liverpool. Sturridge is a great signing though, just what Liverpool and he needed I think. I agree it's good to see them going in the right direction, a Champions League spot next year after a summer of clearing out a few players and bringing a few in is a real possibility.

The poster of the video on youtube is an absolute troll. Nothing to see here.

Further, if you want a truly despicable action from your countryman, try noting that he attempted to pay off the mother of his son to never see the child again, a mere 5 weeks after birth. The way he got her pregnant (as reported in the tabloids, so I'm taking this with a grain of salt) is kind of nasty too.

Hoping we can get something tonight. There are clearly some big problems at the club, but I think the disrespect / media feeding frenzy is now overblown.

I'm not confident of winning this leg, but the odds on us (as the home team) are a complete joke, pretty much regarding us as complete minnows.

Come on Gunners!

Think this more has to do with Bayern being ridiculously good than disrespect, Arse can play as well or as poorly as any team on their day but Bayern results wise have probably been the best team in the world so far for 2012/2013..

have to say Arsenal are looking pretty dangerous so far though

edit: well never mind perfect timing good luck now good goal Kroos

Arsenal looked good for about seven minutes there. Had some nice pressure going afterwards but nothing comes off it. Don't know why Walcott decided to slow down instead of taking the defender on 1 on 1 when on the break earlier....

I don't know how much longer Arsenal can go on without picking up a trophy, why would anyone want to extend Wenger's contract? No other top 6/7 PL team would put up with it (only exception is Everton who are lucky to have David Moyes).

Same thing with Lucas Leiva, for a while he was average and suddenly it clicked and was playing really well until his injuries. Maybe he needs a year or two in order to adapt.

I was thinking why Walcott was playing centralized since the beginning. Maybe Wenger thought it would be too predictable to play on the right wing and so would be too easy to neutralize him?. Anyway the rest was kind predictable: Arsenal defense too fragile, too slow to make interceptions when Lahn comes up free to make a party in Arsenal left wing.

Poor Arsenal! Looked good for the first 5 minutes, and then Bayern decided to show up. That was pure r*pe.

Bayen are probably the best team in Europe right now, I'd love to see them come up against Barca.

Lucas took a few years yeah, but he became probably your most important player a season or two ago I think. That nasty injury came at a really bad time for him.

I think the Liverpool midfield is pretty good, with Lucas, Allen and Gerrard. Sturridge and Suarez are great, the defence is pretty good. I think it's probably time to replace Reina, get someone in for Carragher, maybe get rid of Henderson, Carroll and Downing to be replaced by players Rodgers feels will work better with how he is looking to take the team in the future.

It's probably 3, maybe 4 out in the summer, bring 3 or 4 into the squad and Liverpool can genuinely feel like top 4 is a realistic aim.

Both are arrogant but Messi gets an easier time because he's a better player.

I reckon no CL finish could spell curtains for AW.

I heard talk about them wanting to extend his contract?

It's a tough one after him being there for so long, but for such a big club, mediocrity is something that isn't really good enough, it's a dangerous place to get to aswell as it can be a long road back.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the summer.
