mounting racquet on prince p200

im looking for help with getting going on my prince p200 machine.

1) mounting the racquet with the 2 point system- when i put the racquet on the machine the 2 point mounting system doesnt seem very secure, there are two sides and one side is longer than the other, i have tried putting the flat plastic inserts on both sides and they seem to help on the longer side but on the shorter side they make it so the c clamp doesnt grip as much of the racquet frame--- any hints?

2) the fact that the string pulling mechanism blocks the racquet from rotating 360 degrees it seems that (at least on the first few pulls) that you are pull the strings at an angle that seems to pull the racquet out of the 2 point mounts.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

If I am not mistaken, the head side has two separate racquet supports that pivot but are not removable. The throat has a single fixed plate type that snaps on and off. You can't use them in reverse. Alot of inside suport systems must have special adapters in the throat or the racquet can fly out during stringing. My old lf 200tt was the same way. I think the Prince 200 is supposed to have about a dozen different throat pieces to snap on. If you don't have the right throat pieces and your racquet is sort of rounded in the throat, you might have a hard time.

The other thing is you can use the c clamps either inside the hoop or outside the hoop depending on the racquet and which way will work better.

I think all Prince machines don't have full table rotation. That's their design I think. If the racquet is sliding out, you either have it mounted wrong or you don't have the right supports for your racquet.

reversing the 'c' clamps to come from the inside on the 'head' side of the racquet really helped.

when you are starting with the first pull on the mains at the throat it seems to pull the handle of the racquet into the pulling mechanism of the machine- i guess i could try and lock out the tray table but i didnt see how, anyways its not a huge deal just kindov odd they would design it that way so the racquet cannot rotate 360 degrees.
