Since the 1980's people have been trying to find a means to diminish the dominating role of the serve in tennis.
Anyhow the amount of aces has increased during the last two, three decades but... is there really any need to set a limit to aces? |

Todays game is dictated by power from the service line : Aces and Baseline blasts. Todays ultra light and stiff rackets have changed the game of tennis by making the service return a new weapon. I think what the tennis game is now really missing is points won by volley and it would have been nice to see how this option would have ranked in this survey
