Yeah, but most people who take up tennis never know how to hit the ball no matter how long it takes them.

Get a 6.0 to hit with and don't pick up the phone if anyone below 5.0 rings asking to play.

I think a lot of match play experience is equally important. Without it, most players just aren't going to play their best when it counts.

Just change the rules and make everyone play with wooden rackets - that will bring a whole bunch of 5.0s down to your level.

Agreed. There are so many things that go into making a 5.0, I feel it's the sports equivalent of getting a college degree!
