Default ANKLE PROBLEMS

I rolled my ankle 6 months ago and still am not 100% even after physical therapy. Does anyoen know if my next step should be an MRI or just another X-ray? Do I go to a foot doctor or a orthopedic?

Let me guess, tendon damage.

If you did severe damage to the tendons your ankle will probably never be 100% again, I did it playing basketball in grade 11.

A severe sprain is worse then a break, because a break can completely heal whereas tendons cannot recover fully..

I don't know maybe this isnt your situation but it seems similar to mine.

See a doctor and get something. An x-ray an MRI - something. You need to determine the extent of damage so you know the basis of the problem. Then we can go from there.

Time. I had the same problem too, but now that it's been 2 years since my injury it feels basically 100%. In my case, my ankle probably continued to get stronger. But yeah, do the obviously right thing and check with your doctor because not all injuries are the same.
