Hyung-Taik Lee is extremely stylish. Just kidding.
I like Pioline, Stich, Federer, Malisse and Rios. Sabatini is the only woman that gets my vote. I can still remember USO final in 90. She moved like a ballet dancer. |

Basuki's the best ever female player from Indonesia........this begs the question: who is the best ever male player from Indonesia? Maybe Peter Handoyo, who played no. 1 at Tennessee about eight years ago? There's got to be a Dutch-Indonesian guy or an old schooler who played Slams. That part of the world is booming economically in many ways....any good new players on the rise? |

, because not even one male player from Indonesia have ever been in the top 200.Many had great potential to reach top 100, like Daniel Herijanto, Benny Widjaja or Suwandi, but they couldn't reach the top 100 because lack of funds to compete overseas. Perhaps Alex Tandayu could help me to answer your question.. |

Ramesh Krishnan gave John McEnroe a hard time in 1981 US Open Quarter final. Krishnan lost in four sets, but the match was close. Eventhough he looked like an overweight teenager, he could match McEnroe from the baseline. He hit many forehand winners that looked so effortless in that match.. |

I also think of the silky style of the Krishnans or the Amritajs, of Evonne's walkabouts and Bueno's stylish game, of Arazi and Mecir. Another one with a smooth, a bit idiosyncratic style was Gene Mayer, who played all the shots, except serve, with both hands.
