Question what dampener are power pads most comparable to??

what dampener are power pads most comparable to? i know fed uses power pads and i wanted to know how much they dampen and if there is a dampener that comes close to matching them.

I didn't know powerpads did any dampening. They're just meant to prevent sharp corners in the stringjob, aren't they?

I think a thin rubber band provides the closest feel. Most of the other manufactured dampeners dampen the strings much more than power pads do. Power pads do provide dampening but the main purpose is that they provide more feel on the sweet spot.
