Default Afford?

Right now i'm using Pro Hurricane Tour on teh mains and VS gut 16g on the crosses. If i can afford it should i use VS gut? I have a pretty fast serve and i have a lot of topspin in my forehand and backhand. I also hit pretty hard. Would it be better to use a full stringbed of VS gut?

A little bit of it depends on what racket u are using. But personally i would use something else instead of Hurricane Tour just because it dies extremely quick and wastes the gut because u feel obligated to cut the string out when it dies.

totally different strings right there. If you want to string a full set of VS just to see how it feels, you'd have to string it a lot higher to tame it's power, since you're coming off of PHT.

would a lower tension cause pht to be a lot more powerful?
right now i have pht at 56 on the mains and vs gut at 54 on the crosses
if i made the pht like 52 and vs gut at 54 would that give me a lot more power?
