I think Nadal's loss yesterday could be a sign of things to come -- and a lesson for all of us. If someone had predicted he'd lose to this nobody, they'd have been laughed out of the thread. And yet he did.

So if the world number 2 and one of the greatest of all time can lose to some nobody ranked 100, and this nobody is certainly not going to go on and win the rest of this matches and take the title, how can we be sure anyone will win 7 in a row?

I believe FO 2013 might be the first year no one wins. It is quite evenly matched between Nadal and Djoker and Fed may not have the endurance to win 7 matches. I'd say the odds are at least 20% that there is no winner.

I am not sure how they would distribute the prize money though. And if no player reaches the final, who would get the 2000 ATP points?
