What is better, Wilson Pro Overgrip or Yonex Supergrap or Technifibre Player's wrap? I have tried Yonex Supergrap (black) in the past and it really had little tack and seemed to get slippery. I just tried it in white and it seemed to perform a whole lot better. Good tack and my sweat did not effect it very much.
I like Tournagrip a lot but I hate having to change it so often. |

Yonex was the first company to put out the white polyurethane overgrips on tour, then others followed suit. The Yonex is tackier than the Wilson, however Wilson is more readily available in the US market than Yonex. Both comparatively hold dirt the same. I have not tried Technifibre.

I liked the Yonex better. It lasted much longer and held a lot more sweat. Of course, I don't like that much tack, so I may be biased towards the Yonex.

I still think the wilson pro is the perfect grip. It starts off nice and tacky, then loses its tackiness and turns into quite an absorbent grip. Even with this change, it won't slip out of your hand, it'l just feel perfect.

Yonex; the lighter colors the better for tackiness.

i think wilson was tackier right off the bat, but yonex maintains the tackiness longer. and yeah, the lighter the color of the yonex the tackier for some reason.

I've only tried Tornagrip before, and I find Technifibre Players Wrap to be far better... plus they last AGES compaired, and their tachiness only slowly goes, and does go after 1 match.

I'd say the Yonex but the Wilson's are more affordable if you buy them in the multi packs.

yonex white grap blows away the comp. it is sticky for very long time , but that will off eventually then you have grip that will "wick" sweat no problem Then you can flip it over if you desire & get same out of that side. my right hand is calloused big time & it doesn't abraid the grip like the others. it is also a buck cheaper than the comp. upshot get white.

My vote also goes to the Yonex grip; mostly due to superior durability.

Yonex or Wilson, I think between those two is really up to each individual, but those two are definitely the top.

Wilson Cushion-Aire Super Tack Overgrip is the tackiest overgrip I've found...BUT...I have the opposite problem, my hands never sweat. I'd say give it a try though because I usually take a wet towel to the court to dampen the overgrip to make it even stickier.
