Upcoming Davis Cup - US team selection

So, since Davis Cup teams are to be announced this tuesday...

Who do you guys think will be chosen as the second singles player for the US?

It's clear that Roddick will be on the team, as will the Bryans; but for that last spot, there's heavy competition.

My preference goes to Vincent Spadea, because of his recent results - a tournament win, and some overall solid play.

Ok, we got some choices to make. You have both Blake and Fish who are somewhat veterens. Fish lost early in both IW and Miami, Blake did pretty well at IW. I wouldn't pick either. Ginepri is a fine choice, won last Davis Cup matches, plays well in Miami. Neither Dent or Martin, unless they pull out crazy in Miami, specially Dent, wouldn't pick Martin. That leaves Spadea. He's never gone with Davis cup really before though, only one loss in 2000, so I see them just taking Ginepri again. Spadea might now even want to either.

PatMac is predictable and will pick Fish. He see Spadea as too risky. Forget Blake but maybe Ginepre.

Of the young crop, I like Blake a lot (super nice guy), but I love Ginepri. (Well, not THAT way.) I think it is because he is a Southern boy, and he reminds me of...well, ME.

And I look great in a black sleeveless shirt, for the record.

Out of that group, I just had to pick James Blake because I can't stand all those young punks like Robbie(I may be white and a tennis star, but I'm from the ghetto, dog-gonit)Ginepri, Taylor(Daddy made me a star/too many twinkies)Dent, Todd Martin, and Vince Spadea.

Wait Awright, is martin a young punk? Spadea I guess could be classified as one too. I mean Martin, at least call him an old punk.

But what bout Fish? I like that guy a lot
