Beside being a scammer which is already very bad, this guy is also insulting our intelligence by giving us all his BS and thinking that he'll get away with it.
I hope he is gonna learn a tough lesson this time.

Arrow Send Your Concerns to Hoke County

Here are some individuals that you might consider sending emails to, hopefully, turn young Trevor around and save his future.
  • Adell Baldwin, Assistant Principal of Hoke Country High School, abaldwin@echalk.hcs.k12.nc.us
  • Freddie Williamson, Superintendent, fwilliamson@echalk.hcs.k12.nc.us
  • Rosa McAllister McRae, Chair of HC Board of Education, rmcallister@hcs.k12.nc.us
  • Della Maynor-Bowen, Member of HC Board of Education, dmaynorbowen@hcs.k12.nc.us
  • Irish Pickett, Member of HC Board of Education, ipickett@hcs.k12.nc.us
  • Ken MacDonald, The News-Journal of Raeford, ken@thenews-journal.com
  • The Fayetteville Observer - Metro News, news@fayobserver.com
  • The Fayetteville Observer - Letters, eletters@fayobserver.com
  • Charles Broadwell, Publisher of the Fayetteville Observer, cbwell@fayobserver.com
  • Sonny Jones, New Media Editor of the Fayetteville Observer, joness@fayobserver.com
  • Hoke Country Schools Webmaster, hcswebmaster@echalk.hcs.k12.nc.us
  • Tom Bergamine, Chief of Police of Fayetteville PD, http://police.ci.fayetteville.nc.us/contact.aspx?e=10
Please be gentle and courteous when expressing your concerns. You might also carbon-copy young Trevor at one of his eight email addresses including: trevorneumann16@gmail.com.

Thanks.

I think the issue here is Trev343 thinks he can absolve his debt to Akybo by throwing money at the situation. The terms of the agreement states that he was to trade his APDC for the Pure Drive. While the original APDC was "stolen" it is clearly a fungible good and should be substituted with his "purchased" APDC. Trev, Akybo doesn't want to mitigate damages, he truly just wants the APDC... its that simple, ship him the APDC.

Is it just me or did anyone notice how mark's APDC was sent to Trev343, but was never "recieved"? Then all of a sudden Trev343 had an APDC to trade with Akybo? Suspicious if you ask me.

On a side note... I have to breathe a sigh of relief. I saw his Post and was thinking about shipping him my Pure Drive for a trade. Good thing I was in a rush and didn't have time to send an email...

Is there anyway soggyramen could get us his home phone number? I think talking to Trev's parents is the most expedient way to get Akybo's racquet back and find out the truth about Mark's Aerostorm.

If they don't cooperate, then we can try the authorities. But usually parents cooperate once they find out their son is an internet thief.

Eh, Trevor is NOT throwing money at the situation. A mere $75 does not cover Akybo's racquet and shipping expense. Just shipping from Romania alone is probably a good $30. If he wanted to throw money at the situation, he needs to go north side of $150.

Even if Trev343 magically comes up with a different APDC that's not the one promised and stolen. This "new" APDC has to be at least the condition promised, the grip size agreed upon, and nothing less than the original APDC for the original trade with Akybo. Otherwise, Akybo is still short changed.

Mark's trade with Trevor was a while back. Mark posted this info at http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=228406 on 10/28. So I don't think this "new" APDC is Mark's that just showed up after the, alleged, theft or thefts. In fact, it is entirely possible, that there was only one APDC all alone and it was from Mark, back in October. Wouldn't that be interesting?

What about the OTHER APDC that Trevor supposedly purchased from Soggy's old shop? Well, whose to say there weren't TWO APDC on the bed? Sure, we only saw one in the photo. But, if we learned anything about Trevor, we know everything has a crooked spin with young Trevor.

(Darn wish we had the holographic technology Harrison Ford used in Blade Runner. Do we really have to wait for another 11 years?)

I hope Akybo gets compensated eventually but I wouldn't bank on it.

Someone should call Trevor's mommy on behalf of Akybo and Mark and explain that her lil' darlin' has been a very bad boy and she owes a few people here some money. Mark have you called Trevor's mommy yet?
You're right. I brought up this point on this forum before after some personal experience and incidents reported by other members. Unfortunately we don't always know if someone is a minor or not. Plus, there must be, I think, minors of good standing on this board.

But, you're right. Immaturity and irresponsibility are at heart of some of these trade problems.

Actually he had a refference : http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showt...hlight=trev343but I admit, even if he hasn't I had still made the trade.
A friend who stayed in USA told me,when I was going to make the first trade here,:"relax man, americans dont do such things(scamming),especially for a tennis racquet".I did the first trade with Tennis2001 and it was smooth.
Still,if I will need to do a trade here,I will do it;seeing all the negative reactions against Trevor,I am positive now guys like Trevor are a minority there and dont make it to far in life;and I preffer to loose more racquets then loose my trust into people.

Good point, Akybo.

By the way, how much did it cost you to ship the racquet to the US? Something in the order of 100 Leu?

It was 88.31 RON that's 29.52$(I used the converter http://coinmill.com/RON_USD.html#RON=88.31)

ps: I added an overgrip as a bonus it would be only 88RON then

If you are a thief at 17 most likely you will be a thief at 40.
IMO it's a matter of values, not age.

It makes me feel good that most of the people in this forum are different...thank God trev is one exception here.

Reading at his posts, it doesn't look like he regrets what he has done, actually I think he is enjoying it.

This is golden information; has anybody tried to send an email yet and have any luck?

Yes. I know at least two individuals have done so today. However, we need more people to voice their concerns to local authorities. A collective and concerted effort would be more effective.

http://www.thenews-journal.com/Forms/Tip/tip.html

I sent an email here last night. Apparently this journal is for Hoke. This is their "news tips" link, there are also emails for reporters and editors. (edit: I see Tennisee did include one of the editors at this paper!) I AM going to send a polite but firm email to all on Teninssee's list tonight.

He is absolutely right. It is easier for all these individuals to ignore a few people. Show them that there is a real public relations problem brewing from all over the country and other countries, which does not reflect well on Hoke!

Indeed, 75$ is a MADE UP figure which was not agreed to. Furthermore, he has made no SERIOUS attempt to deliver on even that. He certainly did not for Mark.

There really is no way to know. Remember, this guy supposedly has only AN RDS racquet left!!! Coincidently, the same situation he was left with after dealing with Mark. Gee, keeps leaving racquets in the coaches office....except that RDS! lol. Only 1 thing is certain, he's LYING through his teeth.

Wow you spent $30 just on shipping. So he is trying to pay you $45 bucks for your racquet, ridiculous!

Fascinating thread. I've got to start poking around in these sub-forums more often.

My theory: Trevor stole mark's APDC then used it to lure akybo in. Stolen goods used to steal more goods! Brilliant.
