What does it take to play tennis for that school? Academic wise, I think I have pretty good credentials.

Not trying to be rude, but there are lots of threads where people ask a question such as yours. Although you'll get plenty of people who have absolutely no idea spout off answers like "4.0 to 5.5", the real answer is pretty simple: to play at a specific college, the coach has to want you. The coach will likely not know about you unless contact him/her yourself.
You contact the coach and the coach'll pretty much tell you straight up what they're looking for. |

You may want to check out this thread and see if you can contact the guy who started it. He tried out for the NYU team 4 years ago. Of course ultimately you would need to contact the coach but you may get some insight about the program.

They have a good men's team with some players ranked in the individual ITA rankings. Granted, even if you aren't that good you could probably still make the team, you might not play though. They have a pretty full roster. Contact the coach, he is a nice guy, he would probably be able to better tell you the chances you have in making the team.
