Of the few times I've had to get my racquet restrung, I have tried a cheap mono, a fairly expensive multi, a poly, and might try a gut hybrid.

Went with expensive multi, because my regular is Laserfiber Supreme 17g. Currently experimenting with TiMo 17, though. So, there it is.

Where's the "expirament aimlessly with no intention of ever finding the 'one' string?" button???

Currently I'd put 'expensive hybrid', Volkl Powerfibre Mains, and Ashaway Vantage Pro (older, stiffer multi) in the crosses. It's a pretty soft, cushy stringbed, but I think I'm liking it. I'll have at least one racquet strung with this setup during this coming highschool season. However, I also have a stick with PDF 16 in it, and another with that Ashaway multi. Next up is Head Rip Tour (probably with the ashaway multi in the crosses). I hope it plays somewhat similar to Intellitour; I love that string.
