That looks EXACTLY like one of the stringing machines inside the TCU Team Tennis building! Must be a tank of a machine if they use it, along with a Babolat Star 5... Haven't used either before, but I'm figuring on using the Star 5 exclusively when I start stringing for them this school year. Excited!

Decided to "upgrade" my equipment from my old Ektelon Neos to a new model. I was ordering from TW and planned to order the newer 1500 but at the last second old faithful called out to me.

The missus said my baby was staying in the garage but I have a new addition to the man cave and a win for men everywhere. The score now reads:

Me: 1
Missus: 342

I figured it was time to get serious again and kicked down for one of these (not sure where to put it yet)

And a more extensive string supply

Believe me it was no easy decision between a Han Solo in Carbonite replica or the new Neos.

Correct

I had trouble finding a lot of information on the machine

I am lucky to get such a great deal on the machine though, $250 which included starting clamp, a couple sets of nxt tour, and a few sets of synthetic gut

Hey, do you get tower creep on that machine too? I get some with each frame I string on my DC Plus and it's starting to **** me off. Seems to be just one side too. One tower seems to slip almost half an inch and the other tends to slip a couple of mm if even that. Usually it's just one side.

I had a bit of a problem with it last time I strung (only my 7th time on the machine)

I have a feeling i may have gotten some silicone spray somewhere I shouldn't of.

I set the towers in a spot and really tightened them in as much as I could...If this doesn't work I may use alcohol on the tower guide rails and see if that helps and get a wrench to tighten down the towers
