I was at Bolletieris in december and Karlovic was there training using the Babolat. He was switching back and forth during his workouts between his Instinct and the Babolat, but primarily hitting alot of groundies and returns with the babolat.

He's losing tiebreakers now. Change back quick Ivo!

It looks more like an extreme semiwestern.

I do like the leather grip though.

Lol! My first thought was a full Western grip... but had to re-look at it after someone else mentioned continental.

It's very close to western from looking at the pic.

Nonetheless, very interesting to see Ivo using a Babolat frame...

Hey man, you're being sarcastic about that one, right? The Instinct is easily the softest frame I've ever played with. The Areo Pro Drive (Original) is probably the second harshest frame I've ever hit with, and I don't mind super-stiff frames, but there was a noticeable difference.

But maybe the frame will do him some good. Maybe a bit more pop on the serve, bit more pop off the ground, a bit more spin off the backhand, the usual. Who knows? But the difference comes in the form of higher or lower rankings, and we really haven't seen much of him lately, so let's give it some time before we crucify him and claim that he should switch!

I know for sure that he has changed the frame.
HE was ****ed because head doesnt produce the FLEX INSTINCT anymore for nobody.not even karlo.or gasquet or LU..
Karlo went 2 babolat..the other two are playing something else..
but no FLEXinstincts in production anymore..

Gasquet uses the LM Instinct XL. Don't think he even used an FXP paint scheme on his frame.
