nice one, the speed mp is on there as well. it states it's a 98sq as well! plus it's 63ra not 70 like the pro. plus 335g strung, all quite good, sounds even more like djokos racket now. of course when the 18main one comes out then that might be the one.

From Page 15:

HEAD enters a new era of technology with the launch of YOUTEK™. Designed to adapt to all levels of tennis skill, YOUTEK technologies focus on individual playing styles to enhance performance and bring out the best play in “YOU”.

The first two technologies in the YOUTEK™ system include d3o™ and Teflon® Friction Reducing Polymer grommets and are featured in the new HEAD Speed series racquet set to debut at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 in Monte Carlo in April. YOUTEK™ technologies are designed to combine different superior technologies to perfectly match a player’s individual style.

“The YOUTEK™ will enhance every player’s performance and provides the right equipment for every player’s need,” said Johan Eliasch, CEO of the HEAD N.V. Group. “D3o and DuPont’s Teflon® Friction Reducing Polymer are among the premier innovations on the market today, and we’re extremely proud and excited to be teaming with these brands to improve tennis.”

YOUTEK™ Technology infuses d3o™, a “smart material” made from specially designed molecules, which dramatically change when in use. d3o™ is a soft material that “locks together” upon racquet impact. Located in the shaft of the racquet, d3o™ reacts to the needs of a player in nano seconds, providing a softer touch and better feel to slow hits and increased stiffness necessary to create power behind fast strokes.

“The d3o™ technology allows the racquet to sense the need of the player during different strokes and adapt to individual playing styles,” said Eliasch. “The material has been used in other applications such as ski suits and soccer balls, and proven to react as the individual uses the technology.”

If you're talking about grip shape, then Head has a rectangular grip while Dunlop and Wilson have a square grip... See this thread:

Yes, high modulus graphite, just like every other racquet on the market.

Actually no, that was my point. All of those advertised technologies are irrelevant marketing nonsense. Racquets are made from high modulus graphite plus whatever item they want to add in minute quantities to make it sound innovative, but actually has no effect.

Well, it is mostly made from graphite, but d30 is mostly placed in the throat of the racquet. I'm not sure in what quantities, but I guess that we can never find out.

Yes, actually we can find out. Head has a history of using materials only cosmetically (see their efforts with titanium) and has yet to use anything but graphite in any structural way. The D30 may be there, but it's not doing anything...besides marketing, that is. Makes a pretty cool demo, though.

Head had a booth in Madrid (I was there for 3 hrs Saturday) - unfortunately they didn't have any other rackets to compare it to.

Yeah, Head has had the rectangular grips forever. I'm sure I'm not the only person who takes the grip off and lays down some tape to 'square' it up...

hmm i'm thinking the new radical MP is quite similiar to djokos but it just needs leather grip and some extra weight on it. when does it come out?
