Default Joining USRSA??

If I join USRSA in June, does the fee cover me until June of 2010, or is it only good for the remainder of 2009?

Also, is there an age requirement?

I'm not sure the answer to your question, but just curious, why are you joining the USRSA?Isn't it quite a bit of money?

It's about $109 dollars for a year. I did the math with the strings.

Prince Recoil: $24.50
Total: $115.45

And that's not including the strings from Luxilon and Pro supex. With those, it would probably be $130-140

And a USRSA member ship costs $109 for a year. Seems like a great deal.
Factor in the other stuff you get like web access, update stringers digest, customer support for stringing issues (is it 24/7?), it seems like a good deal. But upgrading my machine comes first.

Membership would last you for an entire year from when you join. I don't know about the age requirement, but I doubt there is one. You can contact them and ask - just check out their site for more information. www.racquettech.com

Just to be clear... Membership does not guarantee you'll get the free strings. In most issues of RSi Magazine, there is an offer for free strings. Generally, the offer is only available to the first xx number of people that respond to the offer. (The number depends on how many free samples the manufacturer of the string makes available to USRSA members.) Also, there is usually a fairly long delivery time - from the time you submit the offer request until the strings arrive.

Thus far, I have received four issues of RSi Magazine since I joined late last Summer (it is produced 10 times per year). Three of the four issues contained a free string offer. The first one contained an offer for Gamma Zo Tour - which I received. The second issue did not contain a string offer. The third issue contained an offer for Wilson K Gut Pro. I submitted my request but have not received the string yet. The fourth issue (which I just received within the past two weeks) contained an offer for a new Head string. Again, I submitted my request but have not received the string yet. To be honest, I kind of forget about the free strings, so when they arrive in the mail, it is a very pleasant surprise.

Take care.

It really is a great org. to join.
The string samples , to receive, you need to e-mail,or send in coupon for the string sample for the months issue. Usually there are 10 issues/ year. The last 4 months of the year they combine 2 months into one. Not all months there is the string sample free string offer, but most do have it. Some of those months, they limit to a random selection, fortunatly I had a good year with that. So far this year, Jan.free string was wilson K gut pro, and Feb.was Head ETS 16 string.Typically takes 6-8 weeks to receive.
But besides the string offer, there digest is updated twice/year, and on line there is most all patterns listed..The cust. support is during there normal hours, I do not exactly remember the hours, but since they are on west coast, I do remember that I would be able to call at a late hour since I am on eastern US.This org. was not around when I first started to string back in the 60's, and there was no internet as well. The old timer that taught me for a couple hours, was all I received, then after afew hundred racquets, thigs went fast and easy.
Stringers now have a lot of information given to them, like this great site with the nice people here!!!
