Default Hitting partner ( east bay area)

Im at 3rd year at CSU East Bay and there are literally no players here. My highschool hitting buddies are all out of town for school and such so I was looking for a player to play with. I play ~4.0 tennis more or less. but havent play for a couple months now due to rain and lazyness. Trying to get back in shape and play some competitive tennis asap!

if you're interested, hit me up and we can discuss where and when to play. I'm free in the evenings in the majority of the week.

aim: mynameistommyy
email: tommykngo@gmail.com
don't pm me, i may not get it.

I'm assuming Hayward? There's a few posters on the boards that are from there and I used to be from there but moved down to San Jose.

There's a club very close to CSU East Bay called Hidden Hills. I've played there before. You should be able to find several players at the 4.0 level there. Mt. Eden park and Bay Trees park are a couple of others close by that field 4.0 players in various leagues. If you do a search by ratings on the ustanorcal site, you can narrow it down to location, gender, level, and facilities.

Good luck!

There are some good players at Mt.Eden. I played on their team for a couple of years. I am from San Fran though!

i played on the mt. eden team. and yeah there were decent players during the year before me (2005) but from 2006 with all of our varsity graduated and i was the only one left, the teams skill level had a major decline.

i play at hidden hills occasionally, but i was just looking to see if anyone new wanted to hit. cus when i goto hidden hills there arent any players around; just my luck!

Funny how many really good players live in the Clayton, WalnutCreek, Pleasanton, and Concord areas.
You guys kick butt over us SanFrancisco guys.
I think I lost first round in Open tournaments in all those areas I listed.

I agree. Its hard to find good players over in my area that hit at public courts. Most of the very good players in my area usually hit at clubs, which I can't afford. There are only a few good players who hit at public courts.

Yeah, and in most areas, once you get to 4.5 or better, everyone abides by the little black book for practice and match's.
Being a surfer, it's hard to abide unless it's a hottie on the other end.....
And therein lies why I never ranked myself better than 4.0. And why I'll never get better....
