okay so my friend Em was playing tennis today at the courts with my brother and she doesn't really play and since my racquets were getting strung she let me borrow a midsize wilson graphite matrix that she just had lying around in her garage. now I play with a K90 but this racquet is sweet. has a nice airy feel to it. does anyone have any info on this racquet?

must be the grey and blue. The black and red was sweet too but totally stiff. The grey one was totally flexible but accurate and not mushy. One of the greatest feelin racquets ever...felt like a spectrum comp, fischer vacuum pro or made in Belgium Donnay, almost a ceramic snap to it, a joy to play.

really? the black/red one is much stiffer than the grey one? I have both but never really played much of them, been sitting in my closet. I only remember the black/red is lighter and easier to swing, where the grey one is little clumsy.

However, since I have two I figured the more data the more potentially accurate the measurement. The SW is probably slightly less than the KPS88 (345)... since the balance is the same and the weight is 0.1 oz. less. Perhaps 335-340? |

Maybe I should do mine some day, but it is not strung at the moment. I do remember though, my black/red one is surely less than 12.5 oz strung. I honestly liked the black one better. The grey one however is a good PS85 clone, if someone can do a PS85 paint job on it, it might be a nice St Vincent knock-off. |

Bud, I'm not sure about that swingweight. I believe that somebody once posted that the sw was in the 360's. Supposedly, this was from some trusted source...
On one of mine, the swingweight feels like in the 360's. However, on the other, the swingweight feels like it's in the 340's to low 350's... |

Recall, too that these are the grey/blue racquets... not the red/black Matrix. I purchased them at different times from different places and they are spot on in regard to weight and balance. |

she's mine, she's friendly, she's down to earth, she's yogic. My chinese girl with the white buttcap (ps 85) can freak out and get tense sometimes when things move too fast. Matrix stays loose and flexible, keeps the play going
