I have 5 (3 which are used for more than a year), no issues here...

I've broken atleast 4 or 5 KBT's in that exact same spot that you mentioned, and I never abuse my racquets at all. But recently I've switched to a softer string and strung it at a lower tension, and I haven't broken a single racquet.

How long have you had them for? Wilson should replace them for you, that shouldn't happen.

So you predict to be high tension and string type...normally, I would assume to be the way it was strung...

my friends kblade tours both did this, think its a weaker part structurally because one of the times he did it by hitting it hard against the heel of his shoe

In the last year I have probably broken 10 of them in that exact same spot. I string mine at 55 lbs with big banger and it seemed like they broke pretty easily (usually on forehands for me). I even had one break when I hit myself in the calf lightly with it. I just send them back to wilson and they send me a new one in 10-14 days. I like the racquet but have switched now because they keep cracking. I have a friend here who plays with it and he has broken several as well.

I am amazed at the amount of you that have broken your KBlade Tours. I have 3 and have not had this happen. However, like someone mentioned earlier, I do use NRG2 18g at 60. Obviously a soft string. You guys must be pretty high level players ripping the ball with high swing speeds and stiff strings. How else can it be explained? Interesting...

A buddy of mine plays on the ATP tour and he must have broken at least 5 KBlade98 just above the handle at the "Y". Wilson has replaced every single one of them, obviously.

unbelievable, played with the KBT on and off (went to Prestige pro for about 8 months) now for about 2 years -- a total of about 7-8 KBTs, fairly hard hitter, hard serve, NEVER had this issue...
