This is why Wilson Pro overgrips are only available in white and light colors.

On another note, it's easier to tell when you need a new one when its white, because you can see it getting dirty.
So true, I guess that's the main reason.

No, the main reason is because of the dyes.

IMO white (say, wilson overgrips) DOES feel a lot better than the black ones.

Huh? How can black or white clash with any colour? Notions of colours clashing are based on disharmonious relationships on a particular colour wheel... White and black aren't colours, so they can't clash.

The problem I've had with black is that, it would start to deteriorate and the color would end up on my hand. This was the yonex supergrap.

Do they feel any different?
Is it a sponsor thing?
Arn't black over grips easier to manage?

I just don't no
I speak from personal experience. One time, I bought some black-colored Babolat overgrips and compared it to the white version of same thing. The difference is quite noticeable I would say. The black doesn't absorb as well or last longer. Perhaps it's something related to the color dye that they use, but that's just how I felt.

I have a Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex and black overgrip just doesn't look nice. White is much better and I prefer it...
